
David Bengali is an award-winning projection, media, and lighting designer based in NYC.
Broadway credits include Water for Elephants (2024 Tony Award Nominee), The Thanksgiving Play, and 1776. Off-Broadway credits include Twilight: LA 1992 (Henry Hewes Award, Drama Desk Nomination); Anthony Rapp’s Without You, The Visitor (Lucille Lortel Award Nominee); Circle Jerk (Obie Award, Drama League Nomination); Einstein’s Dreams (Drama Desk Nomination); Van Gogh’s Ear (Drama Desk Nomination); and The Great Leap.
He was a 2017-2019 Arts Fellow at the Princeton University Lewis Center for the Arts and received his M.F.A. at New York University.
